The expansive views from the site define the very essence of the island – Sun, Sea, Mountains and a carpet of rich greenery at your feet – in all directions.
The site is ideally suited for the consented eco-agro tourist resort intended for the site. The optimal realizations for the site, were the subject of our initial, focused attention towards the coincident synthesis of architectural, landscape and sustainability design - compounded by the positive marketability for the project.
The hospitality industry, remains a notoriously difficult arena in which to retain an attuned and persistent notion of quality. Such a sustained presence that shall endure across the years requires a deep rooted philosophy in doing things correctly, and maintaining a deeply etched sense of attention and pride in the quality of experience offered.
This sense for correctness and quality has already started and we shall all [clients and designers] need to share a commitment to the lasting sense of purpose that the design, construction and maintenance – has provoked.
The positive achievement of a rarefied vacation spot for nature loving, environmentally conscious holidaymakers shall translate as a heightened experience – leading to a predictable pattern of repeat bookings and serial recommendations from satisfied clients. Once the resort has been built, the pools filled with water and the shrubs planted...…the ethos of the place shall have been defined and the pronounced hospitality of the place shall need continuous attention.

We have produced designs for two storey villas that shall allow each principal room [including all bedrooms] views towards the sea and mountains. It should be quite possible that each of the principal rooms will also allow, direct access out onto terraces/balconies – which share the same sea, and mountain views.

Therefore the visitor is constantly in the presence of the greatest determining assets of the resort...…the Cretan landscape and seascape. The villas shall have flat roofs that shall be addressed as additional vantage points as well as gardens, in their own right!
